The Charlie Waller Trust was founded by the Waller family in 1997 in response to the tragic loss of Charlie to suicide whilst he was suffering from depression; it has since become one of the UK’s most respected mental health charities.
The Trust’s vision is of a world where people understand and talk openly about mental health, where young people know how to maintain mental wellbeing, and where the most appropriate treatment is available to everyone who needs it.
It provides parents, carers, teachers, employers and young people with free training and resources. These are designed to break down the stigma surrounding mental health problems, arm people with the tools to take care of themselves and others, and encourage everyone to openly about mental health.
